• She grew up outside of Boston on the rugged coast of Massachusetts. She has lived in Berkeley since 1982 and has owned rental property in the Elmwood area for almost 20 years.
• Has been a real estate professional since 1992
• Owned her own catering business for 10 years
• Worked as a counselor and family therapist in for 6 years.
• Has a BA in English, University of Massachusetts and a Masters Degree in CounselingÊÊfrom the University of Guam, and advanced studies in Marriage and Family Therapy atÊArizona State University inÊTempe, Arizona.
• Has been an active memberÊand volunteer coordinatorÊof several political campaigns.
• Loves the theater and the arts and enjoys exploring the outdoors
• Has traveled to Europe and Asia but is a home body at heart.
• Loves to spoil her 13 nieces and nephews.
• Community work: Colette is an active leader in her community and church and has been on the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Property Owner's Association, Newman Hall/Holy Spirit Parish, Loaves and Fishes for the Homeless and the Claremont/Elmwood Neighborhood Association.

• She grew up in Northern Germany and lived in many places she calls home: Frankfurt, Germany, Tokyo, Japan, Rye, New York, Philadelphia, Paris, France, Kansas City, Hong Kong. She was moved to Berkeley in 1998 with her husband and three children.
• Managed international marketing for over 10 years and as Creative Director in Germany and Hong Kong.
• Has BFA and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
• Loves interior design and has overseen many renovation projects.
• Has been a real estate professional since 2000.
• Loves food, wine, the arts and music.
• Enjoys hiking, running, sailing and the great outdoors.
• Loves bringing people together from many walks of life and considers community building one of her favorite hobbies.
• Community work: Anja is active in her children's school and sports activities and is dedicated to several local arts committees. She has volunteered on behalf of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, The Pacific Boychoir Academy and the Mavericks Girls Soccer Team. Her philanthropic work earned her the distinguished Realtor of the Year "Cares Award" in 2007 from the Berkeley Board of Realtors.
